Here’s the center of one of the numerous dirt roads in the Alabama Hills. This one got me to my campsite last night during hours of rain and today the center of the road had these nice erosion patterns. My big tire tracks are just above and below out of the scene.

At first glance I thought I was looking at a drone shot but your description brought this down to earth so to speak. Nice entry.

Do the roads in those hills ever get muddy or do the soils drain quickly?
