The Recipe #38 - Drama

Well, I've never played in one of the contests before, and this image came straight to my mind. This was taken off my back deck as a thunderstorm died off in the distance. The rainbow didn't hurt. And an edit using Jim's advice. Thank you sir.

Very dramatic Brian! Have you cloned out that road in a version? I would like to see what it looks like without the road. I think it's too far to one side and is doing what I mentioned in your Critique with the Solo Tree.

You can clone it out and post both photos here to get feedback, and then simply at the end tell Jameel which version you want to use.

Great idea. I can always work on my editing skills.

I definitely like this one better without the road Brian. It's a 200% improvement if that's possible.... :)

Wow, this sure fits the theme of Drama - awesome capture! What a cool storm.
I love how the little rainbow adds a color accent, as well as the narrow panoramic strip of land which shows off the giant scale of the clouds.
If I were editing this I might pull back on the contrast a tad, and/or just raise the shadows a little but keep those fiercesome highlights!
