Is this a shot with a high speed flash? I am always fascinated by this type of photography.
Yessir - shot with an off-camera flash! Exposure was 1/200, but I don't recall the flash power. Lately I've been using my Yongnuo manual flashes which do not have ETTL.

A flash is always a nice tool to have in your kit!:)

Well done, and I am impressed with the symmetry and creamy look.
Thanks Ben! My favorite thing about 'studio' shots is that you really have to THINK about all the aspects in play because you have control over so many of them. I don't have much of a brain, but at times it's nice to give the ol gray matter a workout.:D

Thanks Jim!! A little postscript to what I mentioned above about having to "think out" these planned shots is that almost every single time I have to MacGuyver SOMETHING in order to make it work. Be it hang a tshirt from a chandelier or stack up soup can's or boxes to get the proper height for something. FUN!!:D
