The New Season Begins

I can always tell spring is being anticipated by the local stores when the flower displays near the store entrances start to appear. In this case a local grocery store had a nice display of blooming poppies ranunculus out enjoying a break between the rains.

I have been seeing lot's of online articles talking about the coming Super Bloom! They might be mostly click bait, but I do hope there is some truth to it this year.

Thanks Jim - I try to frame my flower display shots to leave as few artifacts as possible that would give away the location. Weather wise you have all of the ingredients in place that would enable a super bloom cycle in SoCal. I tend to believe it from the info I have seen.
