The Missing Mountain

It's been a while since I have had a worthwhile view of Mt. Hood so it was a nice change to see the volcano silhouetted in the sunrise this morning. I got a wonderful color show and lots of images to play with from this session. This is a 2 panel stitch from the 166mm lens on my drone.

C&C always welcome.

nice job, keep this up and you might be endangering my pocketbook :)
Thanks Tim - @pepper has already blamed me for making her upgrade to a Mavic 3 Pro so you are not really making me feel guilty at this point

Having 3 lenses/sensors has made aerial photography far more interesting for my purposes since that is a closer match to to the photography I have done with my earthbound cameras for a number of decades with the twist that I have more options for where I can shoot from. I have shots of Mt. Hood from this morning with all three cameras on my Mavic 3 Pro and each has a different mood to it given what's is included in the frame. Shooting is a lot more fun with options like this.

Thanks - always happy to help 😁

I do wish this view didn't have so much smoke still visible. What I did notice today was that while I could see good silhouettes like this before the sun came up during the day the haze pretty much obliterated this scene. There is quite a bit of visible smoke in this scene between my house and Mt. Hood.
