This won't stand up to some of the great images of this combo that Kyle and Oliver have posted. The comet is fading fast in brightness. I should have tried this a few weeks ago, but sometimes the grandkids won't let me go. 
I had driven down to my sons house who lives outside Santa Fe by Black Mesa and right next to an Indian Reservation. The view from his yards includes a couple of houses before the reservation starts, and there is no way to avoid them, all I can do is minimize or work with them.
