The Milky Way, a Meteor and a Forest of Cars

This is from Goldfield Nevada at the International Car Forest. There was not a major Meteor shower event going on, but I had ton's a of meteors going off during the night. This is one that when behind a vehicle and I thought looked super cool. It's a very fun place that I might try to get back to again next year.

I think I want to go back maybe earlier next year. Or maybe I go to Texas and see about capturing the Cadillacs planted there.

I just raised the exposure of the ground in post processing. The moon did rise about 1am, so I have some perfectly lit ground after that, but I prefer to just use the 1 frame on my Milky Way images unless the ground is an absolute mess.

It was cool how everything lined up.

I had so many meteors going that night, you would think it was the Perseids meteor shower. I need to scroll though and find them all and combine them all into one image.

I appreciate that Larry! My preference is all natural landscapes, but it's fun to venture out into a place like this once in a while.
