Have to agree in the case of this particular mall. Looks like the very definition of empty with respect to vendor occupancy.

Once upon a time I made my living studying the remains of things humans tried that didn't work out in the long term (archaeology). As a casual observation it feels like the time span between when something gets built up for economic gain and when it gets left behind is getting a lot shorter.
