The Life of the Moon - With Motion

In my Life of the Moon thread, @Jim Dockery suggested a slide show. It just happens that I had already done that.

I did 2 ways, first as a gif, which I wasn't totally happy with, and then as a movie with dissolves. You guys can let me know which you prefer.

Though in retrospect, I wish I had left the rotation of the moon intact so that the moon rotated slightly through this.

I appreciate that Jameel. I left the background what it was as I had shot them, the color of the background is just as important as the moon. Especially since the first one was shot right after sunset, the sky was a light blue, so to change it to anything else wouldn’t have been real.

The changing background colors though is something that I wasn’t sure I would like either in an animated form, so I do understand where you are coming from.

Very cool - I think I like the movie better too, although both are fun. It WOULD be neat to see this with the rotation effects intact too.
