The Inner Workings of Burdock

This time of year I like to play around with still green burdock and see what I can come up with. These were my latest attempts but the light was a little past it's prime by the time I stumbled upon this little grove. It seems like no matter what you do you always end up with some abstract thing with crazy colors. These are no exception!

#3 is my favorite also, though they are all cool. That's sure one really interesting seed or is it a flower?

Another vote for #3. I agree with Ben (if we're talking about the same one) on editing out the one cut off on the right side of the frame. I don't think you want to crop as you'd ruin the aspect ration.
Kind of interesting how, in #2, you have a leaf in focus that's behind an OOF bud.

I think they have seeds in them that open later in the season when they dry out.
