The Heart of the Forest

The forest is a living and breathing organism, and I just located it's heart!!!!

This is a few miles from Lake Maria State Park in Minnesota. I was out exploring before I need to start heading to Colorado today and I stumbled upon a lake here. Of course with over 10,000 lakes in Minnesota that's not a hard feat. But this one called out to me and I needed to make a U-turn to get back to it.
