A toppled hoodoo shows just how fragile the otherworldly desert environment is at Arizona's Blue Canyon. This area is actually on the Hopi Indian reservation and, from what I've been told, one can only legally visit with a Hopi guide nowadays (I shot this 8-9 years ago). I captured this late in the day as a storm was approaching so I was keen on getting outta there as the clay roads would soon become impassible.
