One of my favorite places in Grand Staircase Escalate National Monument. Beautifully sculpted rocks and great high desert views. These were made with a 665nm converted Nikon.

Interesting formations - not an area of GSENM I have visited but one that looks quite worthwhile. I like the IR look in these images.

I have looked at the Hole in the Rock Trail on maps before on some of the trips I took to that area but opted not to try driving it with my RV.

That road has the worst washboard surface in the entire SW USA ! After about 30 miles or so it becomes a real 4x4 road. Good thing you didn't try it in your motorhome! Still many worthwhile destinations are located along it's length. Highly recommended!
