"The Bodie Collection"

Very cool - you had good light on the windows to be able to get these and just right lighting on the inside scenes. I found myself wanting to clean off the windows when I was shooting there.

It's definitely a neat experience. This is my 3d time doing interiors and I finally feel like I've made some progress. Also, I was the only one shooting hand-held so I feel like that gave me some different opportunities than the people that were using them. And, yes, it's tough to shoot from the outside looking in as the glass is dirty and has tons of distortion.

Hey Kurt! These are fantastic! What a great idea for a series.

I like each of these.

I have shot some of those interiors before, they can be tough. My favorite I think is the school house.

Have you tried using a rubber lens hood? That way you can press it up to the glass and it's flexible to be able to angle the camera a bit if needed.

the girl in the first portrait brought the whole buffet with her. the last image of the forgotten overcoats hanging up is my favorite. love the light and shadows on the wall in that one.

I was actually inside this buildings on this tour but a lens hood would be a great idea!

Thanks for checking these out. It was a great day weatherwise for this kind of thing. Those coats have probably been hanging there for 50 years.
