That time of year

The bulls are calling. I do not know if there is a more amazing sound that that of a bull Elk bugel in the forest. I could listen for hours and often do. When you live in Vegas, this is a rare sight. Cold Creek Nevada is about 45 minutes away and we are fortunate to have an Elk heard there. As you can see by the shape of his mouth, he was letting his challenge be heard.
