Knowing how the conditions will change is one of the advantages of shooting close to home in an often visited area. The forecast looked as though an inversion was possible and it turned out as predicted. The only problem, apart from the temperature, was standing around for a couple of hours waiting for the sun to start shifting the mist and when it started it went very fast from almost zero visibility to bright sunshine but I saw this and had enough time to get a few shots with a long lens.
