Sunset Off the Back Deck

Hey all. I was hoping to get some of your thoughts on this. I took this off my back deck the other day. Maybe some ideas on composure and editing. I swear, pictures just don't so it justice. So I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have. Thanks.

Wow Brian! This is an amazing view that you have off of your back porch! I like the look of this one a lot. The only thing I don' like is that hotspot of yellow in the lower right of the sky. It's really dragging my eye to it. I would try a crop where you lose a bit off the top and the bottom and also cropping off that hot spot. You could try Content Aware fill to see what it looks like with that hot spot filled with clouds too.

Thanks guys. That’s looking south at Pikes Peak. I’ll nip that section and try again. I appreciate the thoughts.

Fantastic sky! The foreground looks like you pulled the shadows up quite a bit, but there's nothing interesting going on there and it looks flat. I'd try to darken the bottom to make it more contrasty. It would be a better complement to the sky.

Good info. Thanks. I'll give it a shot. Much appreciated.

Ok guys. I finally sucked it up and got Lightroom. I dropped the shadows and tried to get rid of the white spot on the right. There will be a big learning curve with LR. But I thought I'd throw this out here and see what you guys thought? Please keep giving me advice. I'd appreciate it.
