Hau Tree Lanai is the best restaurant we went to....sort of hahah. OMG The food was great everywhere except LaCucaracha....don't eat Mexican food in Hawaii. It is a small restaurant patio andis known for their sunset dining. Only Sunset I got as we had rain & clouds the whole time with marine layer.

Now there is a pretty Hawaian scene. Did you take a dinner cruise? This reminds me of one we took.
No we all wanted too, but can you believe it we didn't. The dinner cruises had way too many people, like 200 unbelievable, & the sunset cruises were booze cruises (bad booze usually) so we gave it up!

We were there the month after 911, not so many turists then, the plane 2was nearly empty and we were able to upgrade our room.

You really can't complain about a Hawaiian vacation! Rain & clouds just make that 1 sunset that much sweeter.
The hot chiles grown in the islands just aren't hot, in my experience. The avocados, though.....

Oh yeah, no complaints here, I loved the little showers & especially loved the clouds. Didn't have to search out shade LOL

I really like long focal length seascapes because you get that orange horizon glow as you've captured well.
Thank you Ryan, yes I used my 16-300, and don't remember but was probably at around 200mm for this, as I had to shoot over the people on the beach :)
