Wow - amazing view and the colors are quite different than what we see as late day light on the peaks from down in the lowlands. Almost like alpenglow in reverse as you look down into the valleys.

Can't say I have ever photographed anything from 14,000' before besides pointing my camera at an airplane window.

Thanks for the comments. This was the most dramatic light on the trip. In June up there it never gets truly dark (you don't need headlamps and often climb in the night when temps are lower and the snow is frozen for better travel).

You're right Monika, it is Foraker, the spell check corrected it and I didn't catch it and you can't change titles when you go back to edit (would be a nice thing to add).
