Hey Barry,

These sure look familiar to me... like maybe I was there too? :)

Very cool shots! B&W is perfect with these.

#3 is my favorite. Followed by #2 which has an optical illusion feel to me.

Thanks so much, Jim! Yeah, that was the time you and Al Maestas and I met up.
#2 is kind of tricky to look at, one of the things I always liked about it!
Very cool place, all you have to do is look around and you'll see tons of compositions.

These are lovely, Barry. I think I like no 2 the best. Beautiful shadow work and the composition makes many suggestions of interpretation. I very much like the last two as well. The starkness of the last and its various shadows and textures are outstanding imo. Being in B+W adds to the effect on the viewer. Nice job!

That place lends itself to B&W treatment quite well. Nice set.

I like the third one with the distant single set of tracks leading out the back of the frame.

Thanks for looking in, Martin. Kinda hard to go wrong with White Sands. I want to go back some day!

Those appealed to me, too, Alan. Usually there we try to avoid, or remove, footsteps, but for some reason in that image they worked I thought. Added a nice element of distance to the scene.
Thanks, Alan!
