Storm over Sedona

Hey Everyone,
Here is a different view of Sedona. We had a storm roll through yesterday and I was up in Jerome Arizona. I did not have my telephoto lens with me so I shot this with my 24-70 and zoomed out to 70mm and then cropped the image a great deal. Not sure I like it but would be interested in what everyone else thinks.

I do like this distant view of the red cliffs. We see the closeups of the iconic cliffs all the time and its nice to view the wider scene like this.

Hey Bob, if you use the Enhancer in Photoshop or the enlarger that Topaz sells, its amazing just how much they can increase the resolution from a cropped image and maintain all of the detail. Not sure if you did that on this one since you said you cropped it a lot.

I certainly like the view and the clouds. It's a super cool view. But there is something color wise that grabbed me as being slightly off. And it could be me because as I stop and look at it the colors look fine, but at a quick glance when I first saw it, it seemed washed out or too white? If that makes sense? Maybe warm it up a hair? Anyway, just a thought.

That is very interesting comment. Maybe that is why I was not as excited about the image as I thought I should be. I will play around with it a bit more and maybe repost a new version.

I like them both, Bob. The first one is a great example of the Mogollon Rim for a geology textbook.
