Stars Over Tunnel View

I spent Friday night in Yosemite to take advantage of the moon setting while the Milky Way stretched over the valley. Moonset was at 3am so I made sure I was shooting by about 2:30 so I could see how the light in the valley changed while the skies darkened. I ended up blending a shot of the ground with the last light of the moon adding a glow to half dome and one from a little later for the sky.

Any thoughts are welcome.

One minor nit - there is an ever so slight halo right around Half Dome.

This turned out so well Kyle! Well worth the effort. I like how with it being early in the season that the Milky Way is laying horizontal across the sky.

I saw Alejandro's post on FB yesterday. Where did you end up going to get above the Tunnel? The main trail from the smaller parking lot across the road?

Up the rock next to the canyon behind the main parking lot. This is my goto location. The trees in the bottom right of the image are next to the main parking lot.
