I almost made this part of my Colorado Farm Series as I was out photographing farm buildings again last night while I was waiting for my oldest grandson who was at gymnastics practice. There is a barn and 2 silo's to the right of these trees, but for this image, with the way the sun was breaking through the storm clouds, I really liked the balance of just the 2 trees with the storm clouds. This was in the Johnstown area of Colorado.
This was one of those nights where as I was driving my grandson to gymnastics about an hour before sunset, I mentioned to him, the sunset sure doesn't look like it will happen as it was super cloudy, and not a bit of open sky for the sun to poke through. But I had brought 2 of my cameras along anyway, because you just never know...
