Spring in the Hills

From a previous spring in early May. While it would be interesting to see a blanket of flowers I am not sure that this area of Oregon ever really takes on a look like a superbloom in the Mojave area. I was fascinated enough by the backlit blooms that I was willing to put up with a lens flare to get the rest of the scene.

The soft yellow blooms accent the barren hills perfectly.

Love those hills and the flowers being backlit are very nice too! The lens flare would be something I would remove.

Lens flare removed. I was being lazy about doing that and probably needed the prodding....
