Spring Flowers

Around mid March to mid April, the wildflowers come out on the mossy hills around Victoria, BC, Canada.
These Satin Flowers are some of the first to show up on the hills above the Juan de Fuca Straight.
We are looking over to snow still on the Olympic Mountains in Washington state.

I have never seen these blooms before and they are beautiful. Even more so with them featured in front of the strait and the Olympics.
