Spokane Bridge at Hangman Creek

This is similar to the last bridge I posted, but at the west side of Spokane, about 30 miles west of the Stateline Bridge, but on the same old highway that predated I-90 It was built in 1911.

Sorry about the ratty looking weeds at the right, this is the only view point that shows the entire sweep of the bridge.

As far as I know, they did not replace this one.

Color and B&W.

CC appreciated.

Hey Ben,

Thanks for providing a B&W conversion too.

Now I hope you don't hate me, but for this bridge, I am thinking I like your color version the best. There is some really soft coloring going on with the bridge in particular, that the color version really looks like it's a painting. Very nice work on it.

Thanks Jim, no problem on the B&W, I also prefer the color, I almost always do. I have been thinking that I could crop some off the right and bottom and get rid of that weed patch, or at least reduce it maybe lose a bit of the bridge, but perhaps a good trade off, whatcha think?.

Hey Ben, for me, I am not bothered by that patch, I would leave it. I think if you cropped it you would cause an issue as then the lower right becomes a big triangle and that shape could be distracting. As it is, that patch in the corner breaks up that triangle. So... I like it. :)
