Pretty good example of "wave meets rock - rock wins". One of the neat things about watching waves crash into the shore is that no two splashes are ever alike.

I'd hate to see a tally on how many wave-meets-rock images I have taken relative to the number I am willing to show :rolleyes:

Thanks Alan for your insightful comments. I agree that each splash on the rocks is different and only a few warrant being shown! ;)

Hey Larry! I love the beaches of California! :)

I really like how you captured this, and captured the power of the wave splash. In ACR, if you use the Dehaze slider, I think you will see it help separate the wave splash from the background and help it stand out more.

Thanks for your comments on this image Jim, appreciated.
I did apply some Dehaze to the image, more caused too much separation in the water in the splash and it look artificial and 'crunchy'.
