Thank you very much Martin, I am glad you enjoyed it! Indeed Neist is one of my favourite locations on Skye, I have been going to Skye for about a decade now, this year I went to the Isle three times with my Workshops and 4 times to Neist (1 time we lucked out!), and I seldom saw such a light
Beautiful image! Great light, great location. The bottom of the frame is held just right with the inclusion of the cliff edge.
Is it just my eyes, or is it rotated ever so slightly clockwise? Hard to tell with the atmosphere on the horizon.

The image is perfectly level, I checked it many times; what you see is the mist over the sea curving down on the right hand side of the frame, giving you the impression of tilt - a look at the lighthouse should confirm you that the image is level
Stunning. I love the light on the cliffs and the lighthouse. My eyes were drawn straight to the lighthouse where it feels like a golden light bath with the cloud reflections.

Great image, and I love that the land mass on the left of the image is just barely about to kiss the horizon and did not extend over the horizon.
Thank you very much indeed Ryan, I am glad you noticed the landmass / horizon relationship, it is a fixation of mine at Neist to have the landmass not touch the horizon (my WS participants know that all too well!
) I think the best composition is with the mass under the horizon, second best cutting it, and the worse is when it just perfectly touches it - which is easy to do if you don't pay attention
