Soda Dam

This is the Jemenez Soda Dam in New Mexico. My son's house isn't far from there, but with the way the roads wind around it takes about 1.5 hour to drive there. I stopped by there after leaving his house 2 months ago and used it as a slight detour on my way back to California.

I have more photos I will post later, I liked this one in B&W for the textures.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Very interesting textures and rock formations. When I first skimmed through your text I thought you said you left your son's house 2 months ago to get there :p

Jim, this is a hidden gem, I have never heard of this place, your B&W conversion works really well, I love it.

It is definitely off the beaten path, I would never have heard of it except for my son living there north of Santa Fe, and then I am searching and exploring looking for places of interest to photograph when I go to visit him.
