Snowy Day at the Garden of the Gods

The place looks somewhat deserted in this scene. The weather kept everyone away? Nice contrast between the closer red buttes and the distant mountain peaks.

I am not sure I would call this a Snowy Day. :) Squinting to find snow doesn't qualify. It's got to be full on covering the ground in my book to qualify as a Snowy Day. :)

But I like your view. I have stopped and shot from the Visitor Center as well, it's a rather nice place.

garden of the gods was one of my favorite places in colorado when we took a road trip when i was a kid. now that i'm an adult, i've found a few other places i like more, but this one still brings the memories of my childhood.

Thanks for your comment Beth they reminded me of some of my teen years. I had an uncle who had a small farm in Manatu Springs near the south entrance to the GOG. I spent a month on his farm one winter and had great times exploring GOG with my twin brother; great childhood memories! ;) 👍
