Sneffel Sunrise

This is from Dallas Divide in Colorado last September. It's an area that during the last week of September and the first week of October is inundated with photographers, and well rightly so because it's such a beautiful fall color location. But it's always amazed me, that if you go any time outside those 2 weeks, there will rarely be anyone there at all, except for the occasional traveler that pulls off into the parking area for a break.

The crowds are never an issue since there is a fence, no one can get in another persons way, but it is nice to have some quiet. Well, except for the cars and trucks wizzing by on Hwy 62 just 30 or 40 feet away…

Nice sunrise colors in the sky. I have only been there during fall, though that place would be great place to shoot throughout the year.

Jim, this is such a simplistic, beautiful shot. I love the pink vs blue dual tones as I have seen so many of it.
