Smoky Mountain Sunset

A view that I never tire of seeing and even with 30 or so other photographers here at the Clingmans Dome view, I still felt quite isolated and almost alone. Obviously most others did as well because it was noticeably quiet, the only sounds whispered conversations and the clack of shutters ;).

D750, Nikkor 80-400 at f/22 (-0.7EV), 0.62 sec, ISO 200, 125mm, Manfrotto CF tripod.

Classic Smokey Mountain image here, beautiful and very serene and peaceful.
I love the layering effect of the hills. It feels like it goes on forever.
Beautiful image.
A timeless scene well captured. Very nice!
Hey Mike, this is a view we never get tired of. Those layers are so sweeet. That tree adds a nice anchor.
Very nice, Mike.
Thank you all very much. It's gratifying that you find enjoyment in this beautiful place... Mike
