Smoke from the SoCal fires had drifted up the coast and provided the drab color at sundown over Morro Bay. 12-11-17

It makes an interesting pastel for those of us who don't have to smell the smoke.

Glad you were able to put it to good use. I live less than a mile from the mandatory evacuation zone (since lifted). Today, finally after two and a half weeks, we saw the sky again as blue and I didn't need a mask this afternoon. This morning was windy and gusts were blowing the omnipresent ash and dust sediment back into the air, so it was horrible to go out.
