My wife asked me to photograph the rosesas they were looking good.
True to my very negative nature I looked at the roses and this image and what do I notice? The slightly creased edge of the petals, the beginning of discoloration on some of the petals, the slight blurring due to the light wind moving the flower. Why don't I notice the lovely color, shape, smell? Why do I look at, the less than 1%, that is "wrong" and not what is right? I do try and see the positive but I always fall back on looking for faults. This is a very Scottish trait and is one reason why I find it difficult to comment on images in this community. You are alway positive and see good things in images that just scream "have you seen xxxxxx" to me. any helpful hints much appreciated. At least knowing it is a problem may be the first step forward. Stay safe and cool in the PNW. Ken
