Small Blooms

Not every colorful thing that blooms is large and boisterous so here is a collection of small blooms that might get overlooked by the larger neighboring plants.

I will confess that I don't know the name for this first specimen.

Thanks - Interesting that you gravitated to the capture that was a ringer in the set - a bloom cluster in our yard that I shot with my 5DMkIV instead of an iPhone. I did ask the house gardener what it was but as it turns out it was something she planted many years ago that went feral as many things do up here. It ended up in the pile of things I couldn't identify.

Thanks Amy - that's the only one I do have a positive ID for - Iberis sempervirens ‘Purity' which is part of the Candy Tuft family.

The name of the plant in the second image is Bergenia. They grow pretty much anywhere they want in our yard anymore but fortunately they aren't highly prolific and add some nice blooms to the garden.
