Shore Acres Roses

Shore Acres State Park near Coos Bay, Oregon has a really nice garden that was built behind the mansion of the timber baron J.R. Simpson. The mansion and its successor are both long gone but the garden remains and is part of the Shore Acres Park. These are a couple of rose blooms from a visit years ago.

Thanks Ben and Jim - the rose collection in the Shore Acres garden is second only to the Portland International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park.
