Thanks Jim I stop there almost every time I visit RMNP, I even captured an image of a big horn sheep there on one visit.

I guess I like to see the whole gray scale in my black and white conversions and minimize what I feel is harsh contrast. As you say it is a matter of personal taste.

Hi Alan thanks for your comment. This image was taken in early March and the lake was still frozen.
