Yes, it seems to me, if we are to make this work the way we want, we don't want anyone who has showed up in the forum to try their hand at editing to be constrained to editing an 8 bit jpg. That seems like it would seriously limit what can be done. A DNG, or a 16 bit TIFF or something like that would seem to be required I would think, if there is some way to do that.

The file on wetransfer stays downloadable for 7 days. Who ever posts lets play may just get an jpeg of the raw for preview In the post. Simple and easy.

Ok, I downloaded it and opened in PS and saved as a 1600 wide jpg (not edited). Here it is. This would work. We had one full size RAW from a Fuji MF and some people could not open the file because they did not use Photoshop.

However, I have asked Jim if this approach is consistent with his form plans. It has the advantage of not using up resources here, but it requires people to install a program on their computer that they may not trust.

I will load the program and do another test as an uploader.

Ok, I spoke with Jim, and he prefer that we stay with DNG. I will work out the way we can use it for Critique.
