Sandstone Sunami

A few miles south of Page, Arizona there is a slot canyon named Waterholes. Up on top there are some marvelous and delicate sandstone formations. This formation works well in color or black and white.

That is some delightful light for this formation. B&W suits this quite well. I am not certain I have seen this in color so I have no point of reference for that facet of the scene.

I also noticed the image was not showing last night but Alan had seen it so it must have shown for a while. I am glad I came back, this an awesome feature and well titled as it looks like a giant wave about to break.

When I saw the title I wondered what you were going to post. Tsunami fits this well. It looks like that famous Japanese painting. It even looks it like is about to form a bonsai pipeline. Good job, Tom.
