Salvage Week 2-12-2024

I am getting this started a little late because I was down in Tucson photographing the Gem and Mineral Show. This time I chose an image of the Grand Canyon from Lipan Point that was underexposed. I cropped it processed it and changed the exposure to get the final image.

I have another underexposed shot although I was metering off of the sunset which turned out to be correct. The scene is called the Marine Garden at Harris Beach State Park in Oregon.

Very nice 'recovery' Alan. Amazing how much shadows can be pushed with today's software.

Thanks - I wasn't sure how much I could scavenge out of the shadow areas when I started but the result far exceeded what I thought might be possible.
