Salvage Week - 12/10/23 - 12/17/23

Here we go again with another week of salvaging images. Please add yours to the thread.

This week I am doing another bird: A Northern Harrier Hawk. I photographed this one at Bosque del Apache. The surrounding vegetation wasn't the best, as you can see in the original, so I decided to blur it a bit in the foreground and more in the background, crop it, and reprocess it.

That is really nice, Kyle. Your unique way of creating images allows one to know who made it even without your name across the bottom.

Yes - we used him for both sunset and sunrise

Somewhere in Iowa. It was really bright in the sky, so I had exposed for it. That left the ground pretty dark. This is just a double process in Photoshop. And in the end I went with a partially desaturated look as it was fall, but the color of the fallen leaves matched the dried out grass too much so they blended in too much. I could have gone complete B&W, but liked the subdued colors.
