It is time for another week of images that have been salvaged from the archives or recent trips.

Mine is from my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies.

Here is the original. As you can see it is underexposed and needed some cropping in addition to normal processing.

I have one that was in serious need some light recovery from Sweet Creek a couple of years back.

When doing product photography I don't seem to be able to set up and get a finished shot without lots of post processing. Here is a small salt cellar that I made for a friend. I use a seamless backdrop and a constant source LED to light the object. Here is a shot out of the camera and then using LR to intersect a mask of the background with a linear gradient to give a gradated background to have the object stand out. I'm really open to suggestions on setting up for product images.
