Salt Creek - a Foggy Sunrise

There is a small park/campground just west of Port Angeles named Salt Creek Recreation Area. Pretty neat place that is a favorite target of the local photographers and it's easy to see why. This is a foggy scene just below the campground along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. I liked the tint to the mist and sun rays that were creeping through.

Nice mood with the mist and all, this would be a good time to camp there, pretty crowded otherwise.

I was up there in mid May a couple of years ago and was able to get a site but weekends and summertime would be pretty bad. Right now would be pretty nice since that area stays a lot drier than the rest of the peninsula.
