This an infrared 665nm I took last July. I added a texture to it because it felt more like a painting to me.
I do cart all my gear in the truck with me, but it depends more on what subject I'm shooting and what my desired out come is. In the past if I was hiking I would take the 590nm just because I had a wider variety of lenses. But now life is much easier with the drop in filters. My go to is usually 665nm.I like the almost fall-like earthen palette at the ground level.
How do you decide which wavelength to use on any given shot? Do you carry the ability to choose different IR bands and choose which to use on the fly?
Thank you!Beautiful!
