Yes, well, that's why there isn't much to the left of the arch in the frame.......Ruins or not this is still a nice scene and you did a good job of handling the light in processing. Not easy to get good details inside of the alcove without blown out light in the outside landscape.
Not this time, due to time constraints, but I went to the Wedge Overlook and took the Green River cutoff road in & out. Made a detour to the rim of Cow/Calf canyons -- pretty spectacular campsites. It bears more exploration. I hiked in the Little Grand Canyon about a decade ago, came back to my campsite to find 6 or 8 Native Americans (including a couple elders) walking through there as they were looking for (& chose that site) a place to hold their peyote ceremony the next weekend.Nice one, did you get to the Little Grand Canyon?
