Roseate spoonbills

I have been so very lucky this year with the spoon bills. In the past I was only able to get distant shots that get muddy real fast.

This year has been awesome getting closer to them.

Wow - those birds are amazingly colorful. The in flight shot is exceptionally nice with the sharp and crisp details and shooting angle. Glad you are having better luck with these this year so we can vicariously enjoy the view

That is a bird I need to capture! Such an incredibly beautiful bird, especially for being so large. Both of these are awesome Joe!

Are they primarily in Florida in the wild?

Thank you all. Yeah pretty much here in Florida and south Texas as far as the US goes. other wise they're in the carribbean Islands.
