Thanks Alan and Ben. It was a good start to the day - despite the cold. During that week it went from 27 Celsius to -3, overnight. Had to dig the rental out in the morning, but the growing glow after dawn was amazing!

Hey Barry. Thanks for the comment. You would have enjoyed it out there before dawn and at first light. The amount of alpenglow you get up there in the Rockies is amazing. The colour is so strong and it goes on and on. We must make it sometime soon (but then you must also have a repeat to Scotland on your horizon!!)
