This was captured Wednesday morning on my way home from Mill Canyon Ridge. It's named for an early hiker who scaled this sub peak of Mt Timpanogos many times in the early 1900's. As luck would have it, it's adjacent to Robert Redford's Sundance resort. For a Long time I thought it was named for him.

You have more color left than I would have suspected - esp. in the aspen groves. I like the exposure in the first one for the better rendition of the leaf colors. The second one feels a bit on the bright side.

Thanks Alan, I agree on the brightness. The aspen are just barely starting and this area is ahead of the rest. It's a rare year when the reds and yellows are seen at the same time.

Thanks Jim, yes this is a good nearby place to shoot, sort of like Redondo beach is for you, but it's out of range in winter.
