Rhododendron Bloom

We have had some unseasonably warm temperatures over the past week and some of the early rhododendrons have started their blooms. This is one in my neighbors yard that just came out this morning and I decided to see what it looked like in IR. Added bonus of a crane fly lurking in the shadows. I never noticed it until I was processing the image.

590nm channel swapped.

Nice details in the flower. The color of leaves look a bit strange relative to the flower though in IR.
Thanks - When I saw the blooms I was wondering how this would render with IR and honestly wasn't sure what to expect. In visible light the flowers are kind of a creamy hue with some pink tinges and leaves on this plant are kind of olive green as opposed to the darker green more commonly seen on these plants.
