Remnants of Fall in Yosemite

I visited the park end of last week with BILs & knew from the forecast, little drama or snow
On top of that, Mirror Lake was frozen & the skies were cloudless o_O
So we hiked a lot & I did some B&W film, TBD.

I always plan on looking for something from the park when leaving.
This is just before the gate on 140.
The slight lower elevation & higher temps left some color

Kinda surprised there's anything left - nice that there is since the spotty colors make nice contrasts. That waterway looks like can carry a lot more than what is flowing right now.

Alan, hoping for the deluge from Spring rains like last year. It was epic & the falls were thundering.
I have seen this stretch of the river nearly over the top.

Hey Dan,

That's an interesting view you captured. I would suggest cropping off the bottom to lose that large rock in the lower left. I think it distracts more then anchors the corner. Was it hazy? The colors seem rather muted, maybe a bit of saturation could be added?

Jim, yes there was haze from the SoCal fires. By the time I got to Mariposa it was really bad!
